Welcome to the association Wikivoyage e.V. The association founded and supports the project Wikivoyage. The project’s main objective is to establish an up-to-date world-wide travel guide with free available content. Wikivoyage is run by the Wikimedia Foundation. The association is a Wikimedia User group, too, to support the project. The association aspires to become a thematic organisation in future. More about us...

Wikivoyage association confirmed as a non-profit organization

The tax authority of the town of Halle (Saale), state of Saxony-Anhalt, confirmed that the Wikivoyage association is a non-profit organization furthermore. The authority checked our tax declarations of 2017, 2018, and 2019. Part of the declaration were both the statements of our incomes and expenses and the annual reports.
