Wikicon 2013 in Karlsruhe
Several members of the Wikivoyage association and authors of Wikivoyage took part in this year’s WinCon 2013. The WikiConvention or shortly WikiCon is the meeting of the communities of the German Wikipedia and its sister projects. The meeting was held at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 22 to 24 November 2013. On Sunday, DerFussi presented a lecture about the the project to participants interested in. On the brink of the meeting numerous discussions were held, such as with Lydia Pintscher on the state and future developments of Wikidata. Here, the integration of the vCard or listing items into the database were discussed.
